Skegness Attractions


The resort of Skegness has a wealth of activities for the young and old alike. With award winning beaches, bowling greens, fun fairs, gardens, theatres, swimming pools, crazy golf, great nightlife, shopping and so much more, we are sure Skegness and the Kentmere Bed & Breaksfast have something to offer everyone.

Below we have created a list of some of the attractions that Skegness has to offer. Some of them have their own websites which provide further information which can be accessed by clicking on the links provided (words in blue). Whilst we have tried to cover most of the major attractions there may be some we have missed. If you discover something on your travels that is worth a look but is not on the list please inform our webmaster who will be glad to add it...

 

Skegness Natureland is a great attraction for all the family. There are seals, penguins, a tropical house with crocodiles, snakes and an aquarium. Within easy reach of the town centre just a few minutes walk away.
The Hildreds Shopping Centre is "The Heart of Shopping in Skegness" offering well known shops such as Evans, Burtons, H Samuel, Birthdays, Game, Contessa, Shoe Express and Thorntons
The Embassy Theatre always has a fantastic programme of events from comedy to drama, rock to musicals, you are sure to find lots of shows and events here that you will really enjoy!
Bottons Pleasure Beach is located on the seafront, and has been providing the thrills and spills of the traditional fairground for all the family since taking over the site from Billy Butlin in 1965.
Fantasy Island is a indoor/outdoor amusement park situated just outside of Skegness, in Ingoldmells. With it's towering thrill rides and abstract structures, the park can be seen for miles around the Lincolnshire Coastal area.
Skegness Pier has a wealth of activities to keep you entertained from ten pin bowling, laser quest and the latest video games.
Skegness Stadium home of the legendary 'Speedweekend' features all different types of oval racing from the low cost high entertainment metal mashing of Banger Racing, to the sophisticated racing machines of the powerful Brisca F1 Stockcars.
The Marine Boathouse is one of the most modern and lively places in Skegness with free admission all the time, it is a perfect meeting place, with 2 bars, a heated beer garden, a rooftop conservatory restaurant and family bar downstairs.
The Litten Tree is a modern bar, which oozes quality on Skegness Parade, 200 metres from the sea.  The pub is zoned to cater for everyone's needs.  Whether you are 18 or 80 there is something for you at some time during the day.
